On July 18, 2016, Carolina Tree Care conducted the largest safety training for the company to date.
The safety training was held at the Southeastern Institute of Manufacturing and Technology in Florence, SC, and brought together over 200 employees from Carolina Tree Care and Duke Energy.
Managers from Carolina Tree Care kicked off the training by speaking on the importance communication plays in the workforce. Additional topics covered included, CTC safety standards, drop zone/ work zone protocol, and hydration guidelines.
Jack Guffey, President of Carolina Tree Care, had these words to say regarding the training, “Here at Carolina Tree Care we instill safety in all we do; this training, is just one example, and it went great.”
The tree industry is one of the most dangerous industries to work in; however, with safety on the forefront and always being your “brother’s keeper,” (one of CTC’s company laws) Carolina Tree Care employees continue to work in a safe and productive manner.
