Say hello to Carolina Tree Care's new division manager, Stephen Mosko!
Stephen originally hails from Kingsport, TN, but he's been living and working in Charlotte, NC since 2003. He earned a bachelor's degree in ornamental horticulture from the University of Tennessee. He also minored in business management.

Why go from working with Carolina Tree Care as a contractor to joining the company as division manager? For one thing, Stephen saw a lot of potential for Carolina Tree Care's growth. There was an opportunity to take our services to more of the community, both in the Charlotte area and beyond, and Stephen believed he could help seize that opportunity.
For another thing, Stephen was excited to join an employee-owned company and work with the wonderful people who make up the team.
As division manager, Stephen's main goal is to provide vision and direction. That includes everything from hiring the right people to strengthen the team to beefing up marketing and sales efforts to help with expansion.
But it's not just about increasing business. It's important to Stephen to bring a service into the marketplace that people actually want to buy. It's also vital that the team creates more memorable experiences for clients. Stephen wants to empower the team to do that and more.
In Stephen's perfect future, Carolina Tree Care will not only continue to be a respected brand in the market, but also even more of a destination company for clients and prospective employees than it is now.
What else should you know about Stephen? He's an International Society of Arboriculture-certified arborist. He's a certified pesticide applicator in North and South Carolina. He's also a family man who's been married for 12 years and has two children.
Apart from spending time with his family, Stephen loves music. You might catch him at a live concert every now and then. He's also an outdoors person, so you'll often find him hiking, camping, fishing, and kayaking. Stephen is active in his church, and he likes to travel with his wife whenever he can.
